Virat Kohli was at his hilarious best during the toss ahead of the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. The luck of the coin has not been going in favour of the RCB skipper, having won just three out of nine tosses in this year’s IPL. Kohli lost the toss yet again as it was Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer who won the toss and elected to bat first on a hot sunny day at the Kotla on Sunday.
As Iyer was speaking to the toss Anjum Chopra, the broadcast presenter, Kohli was seen signalling something to his dressing room. The RCB skipper put up nine fingers to suggest the nine times he has not won the toss and then followed it up with a little fist-pump. IPL fans were quick to notice the move from the Indian skipper and social media was flooded with hilarious reactions.

Despite not having the best of seasons in the ongoing IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore have managed to win their last three games despite Virat Kohli losing the toss on all the three occasions. Bangalore though need to win every game, including against Delhi, to keep their chances of making it to the IPL playoffs alive.
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals have made one change to their line-up with Sandeep Lamichhane coming in place of Chris Morris. Royal Challengers Bangalore on the other hand have made three changes to their playing XI with Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Shivam Dube and Heinrich Klaasen replacing Akshdeep Nath, Tim Southee and Moeen Ali, respectively.
“When you lose six games in a row, the only thing you have in control is to come out and enjoy your cricket,” Kohli said at the toss. “That’s something we’ve done in the last five games. We could have won five in five, but the key is to not take any pressure now,” Kohli added. When asked about RCB’s playoff chances, Kohli said, “I think the teams that are ahead of us are looking at the playoffs more than us. Wherever the results take us, we are happy with that.”
