India played the 2nd T20I against Ireland at Malahide today.
They played the 1st T20I a couple of days ago and won the match quite comfortably. Virat Kohli had said after that match that the remaining players will get a chance in the second match. The visitors had made four changes to their side.
KL Rahul was one of the players that did not play the first match, despite his stunning form in the IPL. India once again got to bat first at Malahide. KL Rahul and skipper Kohli came in to open the innings. In-form batsman Rahul got India off to a flyer.
Rahul played two wonderful boundaries at the start of the innings, getting India off to a cracking start. Rahul continued where he left off for Kings XI Punjab in the IPL, where he was one of the most eye-catching batsmen – with his explosiveness and consistency.
