Virat Kohli took a crucial review to turn over the umpire decision to get Ishan Kishan wicket


IPL 2021 season is has started as Mumbai Indians play Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first match. The 14th edition of IPL is played without fans but can include fans in the later stage. This year IPL has started with Rohit Sharma vs Virat Kohli.

In IPL, RCB vs MI has been played 27 times before this match and Mumbai has won 17 times against 10 for Banglore. Rohit Sharma has come out as better captain in IPL format in comparison to Indian captain Virat Kohli. He has won IPL 5 times with Mumbai Indians.

In the first match, Mumbai Indians were asked to bat first as the Banglore captain won the toss and chose to bowl. Mumbai has set a total of 159 at the loss of 9 wickets.

Mumbai Indians lost Rohit’s wicket early but then played well as Lynn took charge with Suryakumar Yadav but the quick wickets of Hardik and Ishan halted their run-rate. In the last 2 overs, RCB halted MI total to 159. Harshal Patel was the star for RCB as he got 5 wickets on his debut in IPL.

In the 17th over, Harshal Patel bowled a beautiful ball and it hit Ishan Kishan pads and was called for out but the umpire declined the call.

RCB captain Virat Kohli asked his mate ABD for a call and took a review, on taking review the ball was online and hit wicket as well. Virat Kohli took the brave and great decision and got a crucial wicket of set batsman Ishan Kishan.
