Virat Kohli is an aggressive player of Indian cricket on the field. This requires no proof as to his body language and he himself speaks volumes of the same. He also uses this as a powerful weapon to enhance the performance that has earned him widespread admiration.
Virat Kohli also strictly considers fitness as the measuring yard for selection into the national side. There is no favoring anyone in this regard. He follows this policy irrespective of anything, if you are unfit, you stay put.
He sets a perfect example for others owing to his principles and policies. However, when he himself violates such norms set for others, it is sure to create an uproar.
The recently concluded T20 between India and England witnessed such a scene and the Twitterati went crazy over the act of the Indian Skipper.
Virat Kohli crashes the stumps and injures his knuckles
The incident which has created a row occurred in the 10th over of England innings. Hardik Pandya got the charge to bowl to Johny Bairstow who was on the crease along with Jason Roy. In his very first delivery, Pandya bowled a slower ball directed outside off stump.
Johny Bairstow hit the ball towards mid-wicket and Pandya decided to charge after it himself. Virat Kohli marched towards the nonstriking end to take his place instead. Pandya collected and threw it straight at Kohli who made a mess of things.
Although Jason Roy was safely back inside the crease, Virat Kohli decided to hit the stumps which were absolutely unnecessary. In this process, he not only conceded an extra run but also injured his knuckles.

After conceding an extra run unnecessarily, Virat Kohli was seen walking away with a sheepish smile which did not go down well with the fans. It clearly indicated that he too knew that and just wanted to vent out his frustration at the stumps.
Yuzvendra Chahal had just bowled the previous over and had conceded 2 consecutive boundaries. Virat was clearly not happy with this performance and this could have been a result of this. Fans took Twitter by storm to bash this act of the skipper.
The fielding of the Indian Team was already not upto the mark in the match. And this mistake by Kohli took the form of discussion. Some fans termed him as a toddler, while some even called him idiotic and stupid.

India thrash England to level series 1-1
The poor display of bowling and fielding by the Indian Team caused England to post a mammoth score of 164/6 in 20 overs. Jason Roy was the leading run-getter of the side with 46 runs. Sundar and Thakur shared 2 wickets each to be among the successful Indian bowlers.
However, Virat Kohli seemed to silence the tweets made against him by smashing a match-winning 73 runs off just 49 balls. He was adequately assisted by the debutant Ishan Kishan who scored a magnificent 56 runs off 32 deliveries. With this victory, India has leveled the series 1-1. The pitch is showing varied behavior and the results in the upcoming matches would be based on the same. It would hence be highly interesting to watch out how the remainder of the series pans out.
