Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli had an intense day at the office. Playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second game, the RCB captain showed his emotions on more than one occasion.
Usually, he never lets emotions get the better of himself but he lost his calm after his dismissal. Jason Holder set up a trap to get rid of the RCB skipper as the latter tried to hit the ball towards the leg side.
In doing so, he top-edged and the ball went high in the air. Meanwhile, SRH all-rounder Vijay Shankar covered a long distance from deep to take a catch in his safe pair of hands.
The 32-year-old skipper vented out his frustration soon after entering the dugout section. The run-machine smashed the chair with his bat in extreme anger and his rage was there for everyone to see.
Virat Kohli who was batting on 33 off 28 balls was looking to get into the grand scheme of things. Just as when he looked good to take his batting to the next level, he was dismissed in the first ball of the 13th over.
After his dismissal, he vented out his frustration on a chair. After a 6-wicket win over SRH, Kohli was reprimanded for breach of code of conduct. The skipper escaped with a warning but not slapped with a fine.
