Video: Edwards outsmarts Pooran with world-class pace bowling

The Abu Dhabi T10 league certainly lived up to the expectations. Credit goes to the Abu Dhabi board for pulling off this masterclass. The way in which they hosted the tournament in tough times was quite fabulous. The battle between Fiddle Edwards and Nicholas Pooran in the Abu Dhabi T10 league finals was well and truly entertaining.

Players of the respective franchises entertained the fans in the best possible way. In the end, the two best teams made it to the final. Northern Warriors and Delhi Bulls were by far the two best teams of the tournament.

Both the teams locked horns with each other in Abu Dhabi. Norther Warriors’ captain Nicholas Pooran won the toss and elected to bowl first. Batting first, Delhi Bulls failed to uplift the team’s morale in the passage of play. They never looked like scoring runs at a blistering pace.

Shockingly, the team managed to hit only 3 sixes throughout the innings. Mohammad Nabi scored 21 off 10 balls including 1 four and 2 sixes. Delhi Bulls’ opening pair – Gurbhaz and Evin Lewis failed to provide a great start to the game. Bulls lacked enough teeth in their batting attack as they choked with the bat.
