Vaughan predicts the winner of IPL 2021; Jaffer replies with a hilarious meme

Ahead of the brand new IPL 2021, former cricketers and cricket experts have been deeply analyzing the game. Each and everyone are coming up with early predictions. Former England captain Michael Vaughan decided to make yet another early prediction on his official Twitter handle.

The former England international was pretty much confident that Mumbai Indians would win the title this time too. Mumbai Indians were crowned the champions of IPL 2020. In fact, they defended the trophy for the first time in history.

No team has dominated the league by winning three titles in a row. But Vaughan believes Mumbai Indians have all the tools and machineries to go on to win the title. In exceptional cases, if Mumbai Indians lose their plot, then Vaughan picks Sunrisers Hyderabad as the favourites.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were the winners of IPL 2016 season. They also made it into the final in 2018 season where they were defeated by Chennai Super Kings. SRH qualified for the IPL 2020 playoffs by finishing third in the table. They also knocked RCB out of the tournament.

Meanwhile, former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer replied with a hilarious meme. Jaffer doesn’t shy away from trolling experts in the form of memes. This time too he provided some sort of entertainment to his fans. Fans can’t wait for the tournament to go all guns blazing.

IPL 2021 to kick off tomorrow

Mumbai Indians have a superb chance of becoming the first time to win three titles in a row.The forthcoming season of the IPL will kick off tomorrow at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The defending champions Mumbai Indians will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first game.

Chennai Super Kings will take on Delhi Capitals in the second game on April 10. The match will kick off at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders on April 11.

The match will kick off at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals will take on Punjab Kings on April 12. The match will be held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The tournament will come to an end on May 30.

There will be no home advantage to any of the IPL teams for the first time in history. Mumbai Indians are the successful side in the cash-rich league with 5 trophies. Chennai Super Kings follow next on the list with 3 trophies.

Kolkata Knight Riders won 2 titles to their name. Rajasthan Royals won the inaugural edition of the IPL. Hyderabad-based Deccan Chargers (now defunct franchise) have won it once whereas Sunrisers also won it once.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings made it into the final once where RCB qualified for the final thrice. But these three teams are yet to win a title. With Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and RCB yet to win a title, it remains to be seen which team would lift the cup.
