Update On Real Madrid’s Interest In Chelsea’s Eden Hazard

The champions of Europe, Real Madrid are all set to make a £200m bid to bring Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu this summer, though Chelsea still do not wish to sell their talisman.

Los Blancos are still not ready to give up on the Belgian international and are preparing a huge offer now, to draw him away from Stamford Bridge.

Julen Lopetegui’s side are in need of more top players who can help them retain the Champions League title and win more silverware, after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

For this purpose, they have been looking at the 27-year-old winger as an option to sign this summer, though the west London club have blocked the move all along. However, it seems that Real Madrid are just not ready to give up on their target, who is also keen on a move to the Spanish capital.

After quite a few attempts to sign him, the eventual £150m valuation was just not good enough for the Spanish giants to get the attention of Chelsea. They will try to lure him away now with more money, though the Italian manager feels that the deal will not happen.

The Londoners have already sold Thibaut Courtois to Los Blancos this summer and will not want to lose another star to them. However, if he wishes to go, it might be hard to find a way that they can keep hold of him, though they will be in trouble as the transfer window in England is already shut and will not be able to sign a replacement.

Author’s Take-

Well, for Chelsea’s sake they would be hoping that their star does not decide to leave him now and can play till the end of his contract. They are in need of every player that they can retain, with Willian being all over the news for quite some time now. However, the Brazilian international has stayed at the club and the manager and the fans will be hoping that Hazard stays as well.

He has been their best player in recent years and the team needs him now, more than ever with a new manager in charge.
