2. Shardul Thakur

Shardul Thakur carved out a reputation for himself as a productive all-rounder in Tests of late. He showcased his all-round potential during the 2020-21 Border Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia.

4. Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar has been one of the best swing bowlers of the Chennai Super Kings. His performances in IPL helped him earn a national call-up. He is part of the Indian squad that will lock horns with Sri Lanka in the limited-overs series.

The pacer earns more from BCCI than what he earns in IPL. The Board of Control for Cricket in India placed him in the Grade C contract. As a result, he earns an annual salary of INR 1 crore. On the other hand, the Chennai Super Kings franchise pays him Rs 80 lakhs in the cash-rich IPL.

5. Mayank Agarwal

Mayank Agarwal shot into prominence in the international circuit by playing very well in Test cricket. He played 14 Tests so far where he scored 1052 runs at an average of 45.74. The right-handed batsman smashed 4 fifties, 3 centuries and 2 double centuries in Tests.

Mayank scored his maiden double century against South Africa. He smashed his second double ton against Bangladesh. Mayank registered his personal best score of 243 against Bangladesh.

Mayank earns more in BCCI contract than in IPL. He is placed under the Grade B contract from the BCCI where he earned INR 3 crores. On the other hand, Punjab Kings splashed INR 1 crore for his presence in their team in IPL 2021.
