The official 2021-22 Home Kit for Real Madrid leaked

The home kit for the European giants, Real Madrid have been leaked, and it is going to be loved by the fans as it is simply gorgeous. The kit is supposed to be released officially by the club at least in May. However, thanks to Footy Headlines, we have got the taste of the remarkable kit much sooner.

Real Madrid have been a dominant force in Europe since the club’s birth. With 13 Champions League trophies to their name, they are the most decorated team in the European competition. In fact, AC Milan are the only closest team to that mammoth trophy count at 7.

It has not been the nicest of the season for Los Blancos, yet they are only a point behind the La Liga leaders, Atletico Madrid. At one point it was unofficially confirmed by everyone that Real Madrid, as well as Barcelona, were out of the race of the League title.

Thanks to Atletico, who doesn’t want to take advantage of the great gap they had to win the title after almost a decade, it is now a 3-way battle separated by a point each. What makes this more astonishing is that they did this in the absence of their main players.

Rodrygo, Eden Hazard, Fede Valverde, Álvaro Odriozola, and Marcelo are all out injured with an average return date set to be at the end of this month. Raphael Varane is out after contracting coronavirus and they are also without their skipper, Sergio Ramos. With no solid defenders, their recent performances reminded everyone to never write them off.

The inspiration behind the new Real Madrid kit:

Real Madrid have always produced some inspiring kits with the inspiration behind each and every one of them. Like the last season’s kit was inspired by the ‘Madrid mentality of facing pressure with fearlessness and defiance’, the new one is also inspired by something.

The 2021-22 Home kit is produced by Adidas and is mainly comprised of the traditional white colour and the company logo is embedded in orange which is known as the ‘lucky orange’. Stripes are back this season with 3 of them on each side of the shoulders. The stripes are of the colour’ Hi-res Blue’. The collar is comprised of 2 colours, the outside is the same blue, and the interior is similar to the Adidas Logo.

The upper back of the shirt has a badge inspired by the theme of the design. A Blue circle with an orange outline and 2 orange inlines. If examined carefully, you can also see the design on the shirt which is spiral, also inspired by the theme. Along with the kit, the training top has also been leaked.

The Real Madrid home kit is inspired by Plaza de Cibeles. It is the place where the club celebrates its trophies along with the fans. The spirals are inspired by the water fountains there. Real Madrid have received many ceremonial parades there. So keeping the club’s history and tradition in mind, they have decided to give gratitude to that place.

The season ahead for Los Blancos:

At a certain point, it was all but confirmed that Los Blancos will not be winning silverware this season. However, unexpected things happened and here we are. Closing a gap of more than 10 points to just being a point behind the top spot. And from being on the verge of exiting the Champions League from the group stage for the first time to reaching the quarter-finals comfortably, they have simply wowed everyone.

The reached the round of 16 only after winning the last group match. They were drawn Atalanta who had a brilliant attacking history. However, Madrid comfortably cleared them winning 4-1 on aggregate.

In the quarter-finals, they were set for the 2017-18 Champions League finals rematch as they were drawn to Liverpool. Despite the lack of players, they completely outplayed the Merseyside club. As of now, they lead the scoreline similar to the one from the final, 3-1. They will be travelling to Anfield this week for the away fixture, which they will be looking to clear off just like the 1st-leg. Madrid will be fighting to get back the title which they last won 3 years ago.
