Fulham wonder kid Ryan Sessegnon is turning heads with his performances in the Championship and Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a close eye on his progress.
The London club could make their way back into the Premier League but Fulham will be desperate to keep hold of Sessegnon who seems destined for stardom whether his club makes it or not. The 18-year-old defender has amassed 16 goals this season which has allowed the management to push him further up the pitch into more attacking positions.
Sessegnon is also close to being called up for England national duty after helping Fulham to a playoff final although he may be picked up by one of the big suitors in the top flight this summer transfer window. And his teammate Ryan Fredericks believes that Sessegnon is probably too good to be playing for Fulham the rest of his career.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Fredericks praised the young sensation stating that Sessegnon would be playing at a top club in the next few years and competing for the big honors, “I have no doubt about it, and everyone at the club will say the same thing, Ryan will go right to the top, He will be playing for a top four club in the next few years, if not I will be very, very surprised. The ability he has got and the understanding of the game at such a young age.”
The 25-year-old defender went on to add that for a teenager, Sessegnon handles pressure really well which is what distinguishes him from other young talents across the continent, “[He deals with pressure] really well to be fair, it’s crazy to think how young he is. He has a mature head on his shoulders. We’ve been with him in the last two years and not one of us have heard him talk about another club. He’s got a great respect for Fulham and he loves it here. I’m sure one day he will be playing at a top, top level.”
Happy 18th birthday to the first non-Premier League player ever to be nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award: Ryan Sessegnon.

There is a lot of transfer talk regarding some Championship players catching the eye of top clubs in the summer transfer window but Ryan Sessegnon is currently the most promising young kid on the block. At 18, he is still too young to be given too much of responsibility but I’m sure if he moves to the right club he can become world class one day.
