North London side Tottenham Hotspur is keen to sign Fiorentina striker this summer to support Harry Kane. Spurs want to bring in support for the English skipper Harry Kane, who might need support in scoring goals upfront.

Nuno Espirito Santo will take over the club ahead of the new season in the Premier League. Former Wolves boss has the capability to manage a club like Tottenham Hotspur, who are in search of glory. While Mourinho was in charge of the club last season and ended up with a trophyless season.

The Londoners are pushing hard to convince Harry Kane for a stay and also bolster their attacking front. Nuno is building a side with Harry Kane as the key player in his plans. However, Manchester City is still in the hope of roping in the English striker for a huge fee.

Moreover, Harry Kane made this decision only after a defeat against City in the cup final. The striker is longing for silverware and it can be possible under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. The Citizens are also in need of a striker after Sergio Aguero decided to join Barcelona on a free transfer.

The arrival of Fabio Paratici is helping Spurs in securing the talents in the Italian market. The English side has already roped in Pierluigi Gollini and is also in talks with Cristian Romero. However, it will not be an easy task in the case of Cristian Romero’s signature.

The central defender has good interests from several top-flight European clubs. Spanish side FC Barcelona is one among them, who are showing good interest in signing the talented youngster from Serie A. However, Fabio Paratici’s links might give Spurs the upper hand.

According to the Telegraph, Spurs are considering Serie A strikers Simy and Dusan Vlahovic for their upcoming Premier League campaign. The report also reveals that Spurs’ first priority will be for Dusan Vlahovic, while Simy is also on the wish list for this summer transfer window.

Benfica forward Carlos Vinicius arrived last season at the White Hart Lane as the second fiddle for Harry Kane. However, the attacker couldn’t find his fleet at the club. Moreover, Spurs might also need to look for Kane’s replacement as the rumor with City intensifies.

Dusan Vlahovic might be a good addition for the Spurs if everything goes according to the plan. He can also work well with Harry Kane if he agrees to stay with the club for another season. While Simy is also a good goal-scoring striker in Serie A. Son has also recently agreed to a long-term deal with the North London side.

Can Tottenham win the race for Vlahovic?

The 21-year-old Serbian forward had a brilliant campaign with Fiorentina last season. He managed to score 21 league goals in 37 appearances in Serie A. These stats can already prove how good the striker is in front of the goal. Vlahovic can develop well under a manager like Nuno Espirito Santo.

On the other hand, Simy scored 20 league goals in 38 outings for Crotone in Serie A. Simy(29) could also be a cheap option for the Spurs considering Vlahovic. However, Vlahovic will be a better option for a long-term deal and can be a better finisher alongside Kane.

Bryan Gil’s arrival has also improved Spurs’ attack a little bit. While Erik Lamela will ply his trade for Sevilla in the upcoming season. Vlahovic can easily adapt to Premier League quicker, which will be an added advantage for Spurs going into the new season.
