Juventus will take on Roma in matchday 17 as they look to keep their unbeaten streak intact. Can Ronaldo and Mandzukic inspire the Turin side to yet another victory?
With 46 points out of possible 48, Juventus comfortably sit at the top of the table with Napoli 8 points behind them. It will be a footballing miracle to snatch the 8th consecutive Serie A title from Juve’s hands. But Roma will have nothing to do with that, as the 7th placed team looks to pick up the pace for top four finish ahead of Christmas.
Here is everything you should know before the game.

As mentioned earlier, Juventus are yet to lose a game in this year’s Serie A. They have won 15 out of 16 games with just one draw coming against Genoa. Max Allegri’s men faced Torino and Inter Milan in two back to back derby games but their sturdy defense and Ronaldo – Mandzukic duo helped them to a 1-0 victory in both the games. But these victories also raised question marks over the likes of Dybala and Douglas Costa as the South Americans have failed to deliver so far.
7th placed Roma have been anything but consistent this season with just six wins and 4 loses in 16 games. The capital city club won the 5-goal thriller against Genoa last week but it was their just second win in the last eight league games. They have also struggled to keep a clean sheet in the league with the last one coming against Empoli in the first week of October. Roma’s race is pretty much for the top four finish from here on and they will look to start it on a right note with AC Milan 3 points ahead of them in the 4th place.
