Bangladesh cricketers proved themselves worthy of fierce competitors against Zimbabwe in the ongoing tour. Earlier, they defeated Zimbabwe in a lone Test match by a massive margin of 220 runs.
Coming to the ODI series, Bangladesh got off to a terrific start by taking the first lead in the three-match series. Bangladesh won the first game by 155 runs. They followed it up with another win in the second ODI.
They won the second ODI by 3 wickets and also went on to win the series by 2-0. The visitors need just one more victory to inflict a 3-0 whitewash on the hosts. Now, the third ODI is being taken place at Harare Sports Club, Harare.
Zimbabwe failed to win a single game at home. With plenty of hope, zest and confidence, they played really well in the dead rubber in a bid to earn a consolation victory. They posted 298 in 49.3 overs.
Chakabva top-scored with 84 off 91 balls with the help of 7 fours and a six. Sikandar Raza scored 57 off 54 balls including 7 fours and a six. Ryan Burl scored 59 off 43 balls including 4 fours and 4 sixes.
On the other hand, Mohammad Saifuddin and Mustafizur Rahman took 3 wickets apiece. Mahmudullah took 2 wickets to his name while Taskin Ahmed and Shakib Al Hasan took a wicket apiece.
Ryan Burl plays a terrific whip shot for a six
Ryan Burl was one of the Zimbabwe batsmen who scored runs at the rate of knots. He scored runs at an impressive strike rate of 137.21. The incident happened during the penultimate over of Zimbabwe’s batting.
With an urge to score runs quickly in the fag end of the overs, Ryan Burl tried to make every ball an opportunity to score runs. He was well set on 53 off 41 balls and the batsman moved away from outside the off-stump.

He also perfectly predicted the line and length of Mohammad Saifuddin delivery before executing a whip shot that travelled towards the square boundary on the on-side. While the batsman got the better of the bowler by hitting a six, the bowler made a perfect comeback in the very next delivery.
The bowler pitched the ball right in the slot and mistimed it completely. Meanwhile, Bangladeshi cricketer Liton Das, positioned at long-on, took a pretty good catch to dismiss Burl.
