Andre Russell slams his bat in fury
Russell initially started his game by taking a couple of singles. But unfortunately, Sunil Narine got rid of him. After getting out cheaply for just two runs, he wasn’t pleased with the way he played the shot.
Russell who loves to shimmy down the track to hit big shots was stunned by Sunil Narine. Narine’s delivery spun in and then deflected off the pad to the slip where Dwayne Bravo took an easy peasy catch.
The 32-year-old Russell was absolutely livid with himself after his dismissal. The Jamaican couldn’t control his emotions where he smashed his bat on to the ground in anger.

Trinbago Knight Riders book their place in CPL 2020
Kieron Pollard-led Trinbago Knight Riders were ruthless in the ongoing season of the CPL. They are the only team that has not lost even a single game in the round-robin stage. Moreover, they topped the points charts.
In what was a one-sided contest, Jamaica Tallawahs managed to post 107 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. The Knight Riders comprehensively aced the run-chase and won the match by nine wickets.
The run-chase didn’t spark on a good note for TKR as Mujeeb dismissed Narine in the second over itself. However, Lendl Simmons (54) and Tion Webster (44) constructed 97 runs for the second wicket.
The Knights Riders clinched the game with only five overs to spare. For TKR, left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein was the pick of the bowlers. He accounted for three dismissals while also bowling a maiden over. Khary Pierre was the second-best bowler as he picked two wickets.
Sunil Narine who bowled a maiden over was the most economical bowler for TKR. He picked a wicket in his four-over spell giving away only 13 runs. The first-placed TKR will take on the third-placed St. Lucia Zouks in the CPL 2020 final on 10th September, Thursday.
Trinbago Knight Riders enter the final as clear-cut favorites but Darren Sammy-led St. Lucia Zouks have enough wherewithals to fight for the title.
