The fourth match of IPL 2021 is currently witnessing the clash of Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings. Both sides are yet to secure a title and are hopeful of ending the drought of trophies, this season. Rajasthan Royals have not won a single title ever since the inaugural edition while Punjab Kings have been runners-up only in 2014.
Rajasthan Royals skipper, Sanju Samson elected to bowl first after winning the crucial toss. This served as a boomerang for the Royals as Punjab Kings went off to a fiery start. Opener Mayank Agarwal got out cheaply. However, Chris Gayle and KL Rahul carried forward the innings in style.
The duo amassed a total of 82 runs in just 9 overs. This increased tension for the skipper Samson who then played a gamble by bringing in Riyan Parag. Riyan Parag is a part-time bowler who had not bagged a wicket since 2019. He is not known for his skills with the ball which led fans to scratch their heads at such a move.
Riyan Parag was welcomed with a cracking boundary by Rahul. Thankfully he ensured not much damage for his side as he got Rahul off strike in the next delivery. The third delivery was the actual show-stealer. Riyan Parag imitated Kedar Jadhav’s to perfection and delivered an almost underarm delivery to Chris Gayle.
The on-field umpires including Gayle were taken aback as the release point was far below normal. Gayle managed to steal a single, however.

However, he was warned by the umpires for such an action after which he returned back to his original style. KL Rahul took a single of the delivery to bring back Gayle on strike.
But that one delivery was sufficient to break the rhythm and concentration of Gayle. He fell prey to the very next delivery of Riyan Parag.
Riyan Parag rejoiced in his unique dancing style as his trick to get rid off Gayle worked wonders indeed. This technique of his was sufficient to take the twitter by storm and fans poured down their reaction in numbers.
