Fans couldn’t be happier to see their favorite idols back in action. Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur is hosting the tournament. To put it in simple terms, the tourney has been nothing short of entertainment.
The tournament resumed with the match between India Legends and Bangladesh Legends. India Legends bundled out Bangladesh Legends for just 109. Vinay Kumar, Pragyan Ojha, and Yuvraj Singh took 2 wickets apiece.
Nazimuddin was the pick of the batsmen for Bangladesh Legends as he scored 49 off 33 balls including 8 fours and a six. In reply, India Legends tracked down the run-chase in 10.1 overs and won the match by 10 wickets.
Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar rolled back the years and provided an absolute peach of entertainment. The duo added a vital 114-run stand for the opening wicket. Sehwag scored 80 off 35 balls including 10 fours and 5 sixes. On the other hand, Sachin scored 33 off 26 balls with the help of 5 fours.
Kevin Pietersen shines for England Legends
After winning the first match, India Legends locked horns with England Legends. Both teams provided great entertainment throughout the game. In the end, England Legends stole the show as they kept the opposition in check till the end.
Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen made the headlines for his stellar knock against India Legends in Raipur. Plying his trade for England Legends, the right-handed batsman took the bowling attack to the cleaners with such ease.

In the process, he scored the fastest fifty in the Road Safety World Series. He took only 18 balls to reach this landmark. Following this knock, many fans were of the opinion that he shouldn’t have retired from all forms of cricket.
England Legends win by 6 runs
Batting first, England Legends posted 188 for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Kevin Pietersen top-scored with 75 off just 37 balls with the help of 6 fours and 5 sixes. Yusuf Pathan was the pick of the bowlers for India Legends as he took 3 wickets.
On the other hand, Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel took 2 wickets each. In reply, the Indian Legends got off to a sluggish start as they lost Virender Sehwag early on in the innings. Matthew Hoggard provided an early breakthrough by dismissing Sehwag.
Monty Panesar rolled back the years by producing brilliant bowling performances. The left-arm spinner dismissed Sachin Tendulkar, Mohammed Kaif, and Yuvraj Singh. As India was stuttering at 119/7, Irfan Pathan and Manpreet Gony lit up the show.
The duo added a 63-run stand for the eighth wicket. Irfan Pathan was the pick of the batsmen as he scored an unbeaten 61 off 34 balls. He constructed the innings with the help of 4 fours and 5 sixes. On the other hand, Gony struck 35 off 16 balls (1 four, 4 sixes).
