Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant kick-started the journey with a memorable win over Chennai Super Kings. However, they lost to Rajasthan Royals in the next game as Chris Morris pulled off the ropes from the jaws of defeat.
Delhi Capitals made a fantastic comeback in the next game against Punjab Kings. Pant’s side chased down a humongous 196-run target with the help of Shikhar Dhawan’s match-winning 92.
The IPL 2020 runners-up won the game by 6 wickets to win their second game of this season. Meanwhile, DC locked horns with defending champions Mumbai Indians in today’s encounter in Chennai.
Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first. MI has not lost to DC in the last 4 games as they won all of the fixtures in the previous edition of the IPL at the United Arab Emirates.

Mumbai Indians managed to post a paltry total of 137 for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs. During the MI’s innings, Lalit Yadav impressed the cricket fraternity with his first-class bowling.
During the 8th over, Pant passed on an amusing remark to Lalit Yadav as he said: “Body vody khol le apni.” (Rough translation: Pant asks Lalit to open up his body and arms to bowl). The off-spinner made a grand comeback by taking the wicket of Krunal Pandya.
