Manchester City’s Portuguese star Bernardo Silva who moved to the Premier League this summer is someone who would be enjoying his time. The 23-year old was a part of the Monaco side that beat Paris Saint Germain in the Ligue 1 title race last season. Manchester City also currently are unbeaten and sit atop the league table in England. The Cityzens also have a perfect record in the Champions League this season. Silva though is guided by Guardiola at Manchester, he has no less respect for United gaffer Jose Mourinho.

I have great admiration for everything he has achieved
Silva, a Portugal international showed respect for compatriot Jose Mourinho. He was happy that Mourinho talked about Portuguese football. Talking to A Bola, he said,
“Jose Mourinho is a coach who says a lot about Portuguese football, which gives a fantastic dimension to our football.
“He’s a person I respect a lot. I met him relatively recently at the airport, we greeted each other and talked for a while.
“He is a rival, obviously, and I want to beat him, but he is a person I respect a lot and for whom I have great admiration for everything he has achieved in football,” Silva added.

Mourinho deserves respect
United manager Jose Mourinho is a well-respected manager who has managed teams in Portugal, Spain, Italy, and England. Mourinho took Porto and Inter to unexpected Champions League triumph, he has also guided Chelsea and Real Madrid to league titles in his tenure.
Mourinho signed a three-year contract with the Old Trafford side last year, guiding them to Europa League title. The Portuguese gaffer had a tough task to revamp United, and it was evident with the fact his side finished sixth in the League campaign last season.
Mourinho is surely a Special One and has shown on multiple occasions of what he is capable of. United have started on a decent note this season, but his side have certainly missed injured Pogba and Fellaini off late. Meanwhile, Silva though has not started regularly despite being a £43 million buy at the Etihad. City are in fantastic form this season, and as it was expected, the Manchester clubs were expected to run hard to the title race. The story has been somewhat similar to expectation, as United sit closely behind City in the league race. Now it is interesting to see if it Bernardo Silva or Jose Mourinho who will lift the league, or will it be anyone else?
