Reports: United Superstar To Snub Barcelona For Real Madrid

Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are two of the biggest football clubs in the world and have the financial power to splash the cash to sign the player they want.

Reports from Mundo Deportivo suggest that Manchester United skipper Paul Pogba could snub FC Barcelona for Real Madrid because of his Super Agent Raiola. Paul Pogba’s future with Manchester United has been a topic of discussion in the recently closed summer transfer window.

The midfielder was linked with a move to La Liga giants FC Barcelona, who were keen to add the star to their roster. Paul Pogba reportedly has a strained relationship Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho. While the former Real Madrid gaffer has time and again rebuffed suggestions that he had problems with Pogba, it remains to be seen where this would end up at.

Pogba was a part of the France squad that won the coveted title in Russia as they beat Croatia 4-2 in the final of the World Cup. The former Juventus player performed decently and delivered impressive performances for the team in the midfield. He along with Ngolo Kante were the two driving forces the Les Blues had in the middle of the park.

Nevertheless, he failed to deliver similar performances for Manchester United in the English Premier League. Manchester United lost to Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur, which put Mourinho’s job in question before they registered two victories and got back on track.

However, reports that Real Madrid have never signed a client of Raiola come in favour of FC Barcelona, who still believe they have not filled the void left by Iniesta. It remains to be seen what Manchester United would do to handle the situation and where Pogba would decide to join.

His former employers Juventus are also interested to sign the French midfielder. The Old Lady shocked everyone by signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid and are reportedly planning to make a bid for Pogba. However, Raiola has not ruled chances of Pogba making a move to Real Madrid.
