Real Madrid star admits he wants to play in the Premier League

Real Madrid are showing evidences of form crisis and haven’t scored a goal in 4 games. With lack of depth in the squad, the La Liga giants are having tough time in rotating.

With the lack of depth in squad and failure in replacing Cristiano Ronaldo. According to rumors, this Real Madird star might leave the Bernabeu.

According to, Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal has admitted to playing in Premier League. The Spaniard has made 208 appearances across all competitions since rejoining Los Blancos following an impressive season in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen. His performances have dubbed him as one of the best right backs across Europe.

The 26-year-old played a key role in each of Real Madrid’s Champions League triumphs in the past four years and is contracted to the club until 2022 having signed an extension just over 12 months ago. Carvajal has opened up about playing in the Premier League.

Carvajal said to Libero Magazine, “I do think about it. And I am clear that I want to play in the Premier League. It is an experience that I really want to have. I don’t want to be left wondering what it would be like. But, on the other hand, I would like to spend my whole career here, which would be something very nice too.”

He also said, he won’t see himself playing in Asia, “It is true that [with] Qatar, China… we should not trick ourselves, it is about money. I would really like to experience the Premier League, but we will see.” Carvajal’s honest opinion would spark interest from top Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Dani Carvajal’s honest admission should spark interest in Premier League clubs. However his contract expires at 2022. So it’s too early to say whether he really wants to move to Premier League. This should also alert Real Madrid and should act fast to resolve it’s issues.
