PSG Superstar Finally Opens Up On His Transfer Rumors

Real Madrid lead the race for the PSG star after Barcelona step down

Paris Saint Germain winger Neymar has broken his silence regarding his future at the Parc Des Princes amid being linked elsewhere.

The talk for Neymar leaving PSG has never ended since the day he joined the Ligue 1 giants. The 26-year-old superstar left La Liga giants Barcelona for a world record transfer fee of £198 million last summer and proved his worth in gold for the Parisians until a misfortunate injury cut short his career in the French capital.

Neymar has been in great form at PSG

Barcelona’s fiercest rivals Real Madrid were linked with a move for Neymar this whole calendar year to lure him to the Santiago Bernabeu. But the latest club that was involved in signing the Brazilian international was Premier League side Manchester United. In a report published on Sunday, the Red Devils were lining up an offer in excess of £200 million to bring Neymar to Old Trafford.

However, the PSG talisman has given all those clubs a massive blow after committing his future at Paris after the club has won all their domestic trophies.

Neymar Says the Rumors Are Annoying-

In a recent talk with news outlet L’Equipe Neymar rubbished off any rumors linking him with a move away from the French capital. “All transfer windows, we talk about these things, I’m not in a moment to talk about anything.”

Neymar won the Ligue 1 Player of the year despite being out for a few months and added that he has goals to achieve with PSG and the transfer talk gets a bit annoying every time it’s brought up, “Everyone knows what I came here to do, the goals I have. Now, my goals are to win the World Cup, not to talk about transfer or not, I spend my whole life, every transfer window, we talk about it, it’s a bit annoying.”

Author’s Take-

I guess Neymar has finally issued a warning to all the reporters that he does not want to be asked about his future again and again. This is a bold statement and a big boost for PSG who can be quite certain that their treasured asset is not leaving the club anytime soon.
