PSG midfield is packed with superstars and after being unconvinced by his role under the new manager, Thomas Tuchel, he looks across the English channel in a bid to take his career to the next level.
Thomas Tuchel is a hard tactician. He is very methodical and strict in his methods and doesn’t care about anything else around him, as we found out at Dortmund. Adrien Rabiot is considering a move away from France, possibly to England. This was reportedly due to him not being convinced about his role under the German at PSG. The Premier League just never fails to elude anyone’s interest, does it?

Reports in France
PSG insiders Paris United have reported the news about Rabiot’s future at the French capital. Veronique Rabiot, who is the mother and the agent of the player, has communicated with a few clubs. Rabiot’s former club Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona and Juventus seem to be in the mix.
The 23-year-old is not part of France’s World Cup squad after refusing to join Didier Deschamps’ reserve list for the tournament. Veronique, who reportedly earns 600,000 euros per month, has utilised his this opportunity to negotiate a potential move.
Rabiot on the Premier League
The Frenchman looked impressed as he spoke about the English league during the previous season.“There are a lot of very good leagues,” he told RMC radio. “It’s also enriching to go elsewhere, but for the moment I’m happy at PSG. I would love to play in the Premier League. There’s not necessarily any club in particular, even though when I was young I was a big Liverpool fan. One day, I think I’d like to see something else,” he concluded.
The Frenchman was only at City’s academy for a short spell in 2008 before returning to France and eventually joining the youth ranks at PSG. He has since made 200 appearances for the French champions and they wouldn’t entertain any shallow bids despite his contract running out at 2019.
Adrien Rabiot has been impressive of the French giants but in parts. He’d have to convince clubs that he is capable of hitting those levels every week. For now, it might be a gamble for any elite European club to make a move for him. Also, PSG’s stubbornness with the asking price might deter a few.
