Olivier Giroud says he and teammates want Wenger to continue ‘adventure’ as Arsenal boss

Olivier Giraud came out to voice his support for the much criticised Wenger, proclaiming that the teammates want him to continue.

The notion of extending his reign at the club lingers the Arsenal boss despite fierce criticism from club supporters and pundits. With two-year contract hung about, Wenger affirmed that he will announce his decision ‘very soon’.

Giraud declared, “We want Arsene Wenger to renew his contract, to continue his adventure because we support him.”

“We hope we can win the cup and that Arsenal qualifies for the Champions League.” – He added.arsene-wenger-olivier-giroud

Ahead of Saturday’s 3-1 thrash of Arsenal by the West Brom, the Hawthorns again saw a placard being flashed up, reading “No contract, Wenger out“.This protest was joined by Arsenal celebrity fan Piers Morgan.

However another later was seen in support ‘In Arsene We Trust #RESPECTAW.’

The team’s despicable 10-2 aggregate defeat by the Bayern that augmented wrath and pulled it at sixth on the league table was accompanied by the supposition that Wenger would walk out now in coincidence with the end of his contract. But Wenger can justify his presence, “My decision will not necessarily be linked with that because I’ve done the top four 20 times. It’s more, it’s not that,”

”I take a bigger perspective than that. It’s not the last result that will decide what I will do.”

“I don’t want to judge. I’m judged enough and I’m not a judge so I can’t answer.”

”Everybody in life is responsible for his own behaviour. I’m responsible for my own behaviour. I don’t judge other people,”

There were reports from the German newspaper Bild that Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel is approached for the managerial position, but those don’t go by Arsenal’s apparent tendency to stick to Wenger.

”I give my best. As long as I am at the club, whether that is for two more years, 10 more years or four more months, that will not be different. As for all the rest, everybody has to look at themselves.” Wenger proclaimed this weekend.
