Real Madrid manager has stated that he will speak on the Neymar reports after the Champions League final against Liverpool.
Neymar left Barcelona last summer for a world record fee of £198 million in order to join Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain. Despite taking the French league by storm, there are reports of the Brazilian talisman claiming that he is bored because of the lack of competitiveness. This has led to speculation over Neymar’s future with a possible reunion back to Spain in order to join Barcelona’s fierce rivals Real Madrid in the summer.
According to reports from Goal, Real Madrid president Fiorentino Perez has made Neymar his prime target in the summer transfer window and there have been constant rumors linking the 26-year-old to the Santiago Bernabeu.
With the speculation revolving around the star winger to the Madrid capital the Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane has had his say regarding the transfer rumors involving Neymar.
Zizou Opens Up On Neymar Transfer Rumors-
The 45-year-old boss said in a press conference earlier this week that he did not want to comment on any players ahead of the crunch Champions League final against Liverpool next Saturday. Zidane was asked by reporters about Neymar’s transfer possibilities to the Spanish capital and then replied,” I’m not going to talk more about a player who isn’t one of mine, and there are 10 days and two games left. After that, we’ll talk about what you want.”
Real Madrid has already created history by winning the last two Champions League finals and have made it to the elite competition for the third time running. However, Liverpool will face a strong Liverpool side that boasts of the best attack in Europe in a weeks’ time.
I guess that Zidane does not want any distractions of any other player being rumored to join the club before the Champions League final. The prestigious trophy is the only hope of silverware for either of the two clubs to secure this term and I’m sure the final will be a thrilling one. Regarding Neymar, I doubt that PSG will let him leave the club this summer.
