Manchester United star offered to PSG and Juventus

Following a rift with manager Jose Mourinho and an injury-ravaged season, the Manchester United starlet is being offered to European biggies such as PSG and Juventus

Manchester United’s most expensive signing Paul Pogba is once again a subject of a high-profile transfer. The Frenchman is only completing the second season of his second stint with the Red Devils, but the talks of a move have already been triggered.

Reports suggest Pogba is been offered to European giants Paris St.Germain and Juventus, from where he was re-signed in 2016. His relationship with manager Jose Mourinho hit the rocks when they got involved in a spat regarding his role. The 25-year old’s season additionally, has also been curtailed greatly due to injuries.

Uncertainties have arisen over his future at the Old Trafford, and his agent Mino Raiola is said to get engage with the aforementioned clubs, along with Real Madrid and Manchester City. The European champions have long been linked to the Frenchman while Pep Guardiola is believed to have expressed his interest on the eve of the Manchester derby last month.

Amongst the four, Les Parisians have entertained the idea more at the moment, but risk breaching the FFP regulations. The club has already been fined once on the grounds before, and the governing body continues to maintain a keen eye against another market-disruptive expenditure.

Pogba has been reduced to a substitute role this season, despite playing a talismanic role in a trophy-laden debut spell. His performances on the pitch too, have been inconsistent. But he continues to be pursued by the mightier quarters of Europe.

PSG are said to be assessing whether United are really willing to sell their €105 million acquisition so early. Besides, there also skepticisms about selling him to a direct rival in City. Pogba himself though refused to comment on this and instead attempted to prevaricate when directly confronted on the issue. “For now I’m at Manchester United. I really only think about the present. Transfers are not in my head. You know, if I listened to everyone, I would be everywhere,” he said.

It really is too early for a player as good as Paul Pogba to leave a club like Manchester United in the summer. His patchy relationship with Mourinho may one day foster a move elsewhere. But, that certainly isn’t going to happen as early as 2018, just 2 years into his second stint with his boyhood club.
