Manchester United is one of the strongest team in the English Premier League and needs their front man to use his potential to the fullest to build a “brilliant” season.
United legend Andy Cole thinks that Manchester United should start Playing to the Belgian international Romelu Lukaku strength to get the best out of him. Lukaku is a doubt for their last match against Chelsea in the FA cup final clash following his ankle injury.
Jose Mourinho admitted that Belgian can only make to the bench against Chelsea on Saturday-night clash. Romelu must be eager to end his first season at Manchester United a complete masterpiece by winning FA cup. Former United front-man Andy Cole hailed Lukaku debut at Manchester United as Massive success scoring 27 goals after his 75 million euros switch from Everton.
“I think he’s played really well,” Cole said. “He’s been consistent, he’s not had the opportunity to have much rest, with Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] being injured and then moving on, so this season he’s done really well, in a team that doesn’t create many chances. So to get 27 goals, whether from a half-chance or a full chance, is brilliant.
“I still don’t believe, when I watch him play, that he’s actually playing to his strengths,” the ex-United striker added. “If you look at the way he played at Everton, to the way he plays now, it’s totally different.
Jose Mourinho tactics of not throwing a large number of players forward and playing defensive football are well-known which is hampering Lukaku strength of getting behind the defenders. Cole goes on to say that Lukaku can beat the Liverpool sensation Salah for scoring if he plays at his strength and can even score more than him.
“You never know. But if you look at what Salah has done this season, a lot goes through him, even though the three of them [Salah and fellow Liverpool forwards Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino] are fantastic. If you look at the way he plays, he plays to his strengths. They give the ball to him early doors and he’ll crack on and do what he does and nick a goal. He’s ended up getting 43 goals this season.”
The 25-year old Belgium international Romelu Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the English Premier League at present. Lukaku has the potential to become the goal machine when he plays at his full strength and give the ball in right areas. His control and finishing are second to none and with his power can overpower any defenders with ease. He is equally strong in air and scores many stunners with his head.
Still, 25-year old Romelu Lukaku has time to nurture his abilities even more and become one of the deadliest strikers in the world and surpass many records set by others.
