Manchester United dealt huge blow as Premier League target rejects them

The Red Devils have been given a blow regarding a transfer for Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard in the summer transfer window.

With Chelsea sitting in fifth place in the Premier League at the moment, it seems unlikely that the Blues will finish in the top four to secure a Champions League spot. This will make it even more difficult for the West London outfit to keep hold of their superstar players for next season with stars like Eden Hazard wanting to play in Europe’s elite tournament.

Manchester City and Manchester United are both eager on signing the elusive Belgian star as they look to bolster their respective squads in the next transfer window but read on to check out Hazards response.

Hazard Sends Message To Mourinho-

In a video posted on social media, Hazard was at an A-Star Barbershop when a fan urged him to join Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, the 27-year-old emphatically ruled out a switch to the Red Devils. Hazard read out the comment out loud and laughingly replied, “No chance”.

Hazard still has two years left on his deal with the Stamford Bridge club as his contract expires in 2019. But having ruled out a move to Chelsea’s Premier League rivals, the attacking midfielder has ensured that he has no intention of joining Jose Mourinho’s side.

On Sunday, Chelsea beat Liverpool 1-0 at Stamford Bridge to move closer to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in fourth place on the table, only two points away. Hazard was splendid on the afternoon and will be hoping that the clubs ahead of them slip up in order to pounce on a top 4 spot. Chelsea will now face Manchester United in the FA Cup final next Saturday which could salvage some glory for them this season.

Author’s Take-

I guess we all now know what Hazard feels about joining Manchester United. However, I’m sure that Hazard would feel much different if Real Madrid come calling for him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
