Manchester United and Arsenal could lose their transfer target to another PL club.

The young midfielder has attracted interests from some big sharks but Leicester City are already in talks with Monaco for a permanent deal for Youri Tielemans.

Leicester City coach Brendan Rogers has asked the club to sign Belgian young midfielder, Youri Tielemans on a permanent deal quickly. After making a loan move to Leicester City in January from AS Monaco, the Belgian international made 12 appearances for the club, scoring thrice and assisting four goals.

His performance for Leicester City in the English Premier League has helped attract interests from multiple clubs and Leicester City want to make him theirs on a permanent deal before the big sharks register interest.

The young midfielder has reportedly been linked with moves to Premier League’s bigger clubs. Arsenal and Manchester United are in search of new midfielders to bolster their ranks and is linked with the young Belgian midfielder.

Tielemans current contract with AS Monaco expires only in 2022 but the club will most likely sell the young midfielder if potential buyers meet their demands.

The striker has not yet made it clear where his preference is. However, Leicester City will be trying to accelerate the process and struck a deal for the highly-talented midfielder.

With Manchester United in need of reviving their current squad and Arsenal in need of filling the void of Aaron Ramsey, both clubs could be expected to spend big in the transfer window.

It remains to be seen if the Manchester giants and North London club will make a move for Tielemans.

“Normally, I’ll go back to Monaco this summer, unless something moves, but that’s not the case at the moment. When things go well, of course, you want it to stay that way. But I do not know how it’s going to go or how much Monaco are going to ask.” responded Tielemans on his future.

Author’s Take

Tielemans made the most of his opportunity in the Premier League as he delivered fine performances for the Foxes. They are impressed and that’s why there are in talks. If he is to make a move to either Arsenal or Manchester United, he should consider if he will get playing time.
