Liverpool legend suggested Chelsea should launch a transfer move for the out of favor David De Gea from Manchester United.
Liverpool legend says, De Gea has been a important part of Manchester United’s team for almost a decade but it’s time to move on. Recently he is enduring a frustrating season at Old Trafford and also made another mistake in the 1-1 draw with Everton on Sunday.
Post-Premier League clash, Graeme Souness suggested De Gea is tipped to leave Old Trafford this summer. In addition to it, Chelsea may look to sign the Spaniard this summer.
Furthermore, Chelsea is also facing goalkeeping problems at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea boss Frank Lampard seems to have trust issues on club-record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga between the sticks. The 38-year-old Willy Caballero currently playing ahead of £72m Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Spanish goalie hasn’t played since January 21. He is mostly replaced by Willy Caballero who is being preferred for the last six games instead. Reports suggest the south Londoners could opt to replace Kepa over the summer and Liverpool legend Souness believes De Gea could be an option.

De Gea’s position is in danger and he might lose his spot to Dean Henderson in the coming months. After falling out of favor with some Man United fans, especially those expressing their opinion at social media who are willing to see Henderson between the sticks next season.
The pundit says De Gea will not be happily adjusting sitting on the bench and would surely look for more playtime if he loses his place.
