Juventus are said to be making a right-back signing a priority for their next season. Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin has already emerged as their first choice as they look to bolster their disjoined team. The Spanish full-back has been a crucial member of the Arsenal squad.
Both Juventus, as well as Arsenal, are having a frustrating season in their respective leagues. The untouchable champions are on the verge of losing their throne after 9 long years. They have been the Serie-A champions since 2011-12, and there have been no tough competitions.
With only a dozen more games left, their hopes to win the league this season looks slim as they are 7 points behind the leaders at 3rd position.
Even though the Gunners have got back their mojo, their season-long performance has shown how the mighty empire has fallen. Arsenal used to be one of the scariest teams in England, and now, they are almost 30 points behind the top. They are currently 10th in the Premier League.
Juventus ready to offer Two Players for Hector Bellerin
The Old Lady is in desperate need of new players. They have a thin squad, with many players playing positions that don’t favor them.
A right-back is their current priority as they have been adjusting with Juan Cuadrado, who is officially a midfielder.
The financial situation has been really weak since the coronavirus outbreak, so a cash deal looks pretty bleak. Player swap is the best available option for them as they have surplus players who are not often picked.
According to (Via TuttoJuve), Adrien Rabiot is one of the two who has been offered to Arsenal. The French midfielder made his move from France to Italy in 2019. Fair to say things haven’t been going in his favor. He has failed to make an impact on the team and has been struggling to cement his place in the starting squad. Juventus had earlier included him in a bid to get Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
The second player included is Douglas Costa. The Brazilian winger has real talent up his sleeves. Yet he has failed to gain his manager’s trust. He is currently on loan at Bayern Munich where he is not favored much either. Andrea Pirlo intends to sell him as he is 30-years-old and he is focused on a youth-centered team.
Barcelona return in the books for Hector Bellerin?
Hector was born in Barcelona and was a part of the Barcelona Youth squad. He later moved to Arsenal in 2011 and cemented himself as a proper Gunner.
Bellerin has been linked with various clubs over the previous years and a return to his hometown cannot be ousted. Hector is entering the last 2 years of his contract, and a renewal talk doesn’t look like happening.
His move to Barcelona also depends on who Barcelona appoints as their new President. Joan Laporta is the favorite candidate for the post. According to reports, he has already discussed over the potential return of Hector to the Catalans.
