“He is on auto heel mode, and the back is recovering well. Bumrah has already started running and is doing some light warm-up exercises. He will assess himself after Diwali under the watchful eyes of Nitin. Things have progressed well, as in the case of his previous stress fracture, which healed naturally.”

The Indian team is yet to play the home series and that is why the team is not taking any risk regarding the management Jasprit Bumrah. India has to tour New Zealand next year and also have a T20 World Cup. The source further said
