Chelsea academy product Tammy Abraham has been linked to a move away from Stamford Bridge. Tammy served the Villans in the 2018-19 season when he went out on loan. Aston Villa looks like a probable destination if he gets dropped more often with Jack Grealish already a player at Villa.
Tammy has been Blue since he was a child. He joined the club in 2004 and played in the youth team till 2016. He was promoted to the first team after showing promising displays.
Chelsea registered a brilliant win by inflicting more pain on Liverpool when they defeated them 1-0 at Anfield. With the win, Chelsea has maintained a dream run under their new manager Thomas Tuchel. They are yet to taste defeat under him. Tuchel has won 7 and drawn 3 in the 10 matches he managed so far. They are now 4th in the Premier League.
Frustrated Tammy to move away from the club?
Although Chelsea has been enjoying a brilliant run under Thomas Tuchel, the same cannot be said for Tammy. Since Frank Lampard left, there has been a lot of rotation taking place in the squad. Tammy is also included in the list.
He will definitely be concerned now since he was not even named on the bench against Manchester United and Liverpool. He has scored only one goal under the new manager. From being a regular under Frank to not even being on the bench, Tammy might actually give his future thought.
Oliver Giroud is the experienced striker the manager will often count on. And Timo Werner, who hasn’t adjusted in the Premier League will be favored because of the German connection. If as per reports, Chelsea are planning to land the big gun Erling Haaland, that might be the final nail in the coffin for Tammy.
“He lacks a little bit of luck, Tammy, not only in games but also in training, and once the last touch comes back, and he’s fighting for it now, he will stay a player that we will push for. It’s my job to push him to his limits and we will not stop doing this in supporting him.” Tuchel said.
Having said so, his former club are interested in him, in case he leaves. Tammy Abraham represented Aston Villa in 2018-19. He scored a brilliant 25 goals that season and secured his team a Premier League spot. He broke many records as a Villa player and was named in the PFA Team of the year.
Bringing in Abraham would help in adding competition to Oliver Watkins. If both of them are to play alongside, we can expect a lot of goals from them.
Jack Grealish on which player Motivates him
Another crucial player for Aston Villa has been Jack Grealish. In fact, he is so good that many say he deserves a better club. He has been the most creative player in the Premier League this season. He has 16 G/A contributions so far this season.
“De Bruyne is my favourite player. I think he is probably the most perfect footballer in the Prem. I try and take little bits really out of his game.” said Grealish on UMM.
Jack Grealish revealed in a recent interview that he has been observing Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne as his motivation. He watches his videos to keep improving himself. Now we know the reason why he is so good.
