Yuzvendra Chahal has been the top-performing bowlers for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2020 edition of the IPL. He is the leading wicket-taker for RCB and the fourth leading wicket-taker in this season’s Indian Premier League.
The wrist-spinner took important wickets in crunch situations. Chahal has taken 21 wickets at an impressive average of 19.28 in 15 matches. The leg-spinner registered his best bowling figures of 3/18 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the league stage.
Chahal was also one of the best economical bowlers this season. In an era when bowlers are being expensive in the truncated version of the game, Chahal kept the best batsmen in check. His pretty good economy rate of 7.08 speaks volumes about his bowling.
Yuzvendra Chahal is enjoying at the UAE
Royal Challengers Bangalore were out of this competition and the trophy drought continues to haunt them. It has been 13 seasons now and they are yet to win a title since the inaugural edition of the IPL. So far, they reached three IPL finals.
Even though they performed well in the starting stages of the IPL, they failed in the latter stages. They won 7 games out of the 10 games. Rightly so, they were second in the points table. After that, they lost five games in a row that saw the end of their journey.
Sunrisers Hyderabad knocked them out of the IPL in the Eliminator. SRH beat RCB by 6 wickets with two balls to spare. Kane Williamson and Jason Holder took SRH home. Currently, Yuzvendra Chahal is in the United Arab Emirates along with his teammates.
The IPL final between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals will take place on November 10 in Dubai. Two days after the IPL final, Team India led by Virat Kohli will fly to Australia for a full-fledged tour. India will play 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is, and a four-match Test series.
India international leggie posted a picture of himself chilling at a beach on Sunday. He was seen relishing a sunset in the UAE. We are pretty sure that it was an endorsement where he promoted his latest #GoProHERO9 mobile’s camera.
Yuzvendra Chahal took to his official Twitter handle and posted a candid picture. Along with the picture, he posted a caption that reads: “Sublime sunsets, solace captured on my brand new.” His post received more than 20k likes and 300 retweets.
Yuvraj Singh trolls Chahal
The former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh is quite active on Twitter these days. He has been actively trolling his former teammates on the micro-blogging Twitter platform. Whenever he gets an opportunity, he doesn’t fail to take a dig at his friends.
Not a long ago, he took a swipe at Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant after Mumbai Indians posted a tweet. “Still waiting for that six-hitting competition between Pant and Ro!,” MI wrote. In reply, Yuvraj Singh wrote: “Or a competition of fat percentage on their cheeks.”
Now, recently, Yuvraj Singh savagely trolled Yuzvendra Chahal on his Twitter post. “You’re going to watch the final on go pro or going to the stadium to watch ?”, the 2011 ODI World Cup hero commented.
