IPL 2021: The recent eliminator match was being played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
The bold army had won the toss and they elected to bat first. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal put up a 49 runs partnership for the first wicket. But things started moving in the favour of KKR.
Moreover, the wickets kept falling like a pack of cards. And Royal challengers Bangalore batting lineup failed to live up to the expectations once again. It was a disaster class performance by the bold army.
RCB somehow managed to put up a fighting total of 138 in the first innings. However, KKR on the other hand started well but even they got stuck in the middle overs. Sunil Narine had pulled them out.
The West Indies all-rounder played a crucial cameo to help KKR revive their momentum. And eventually, KKR won the game with four wickets in hand and 2 balls remaining. This was a brilliant performance all together for the Knight Riders.
However, this loss was a major heartbreaking moment for Virat Kohli. Since it was his last game as the RCB captain, VK was also a little bit emotional at the end of the match.
