Mumbai Indians had won the toss and elected to field first. RCB lost Padikkal quickly but Kohli made sure he gets going in this innings. Kohli scored a fine fifty as he made 51 runs.

K.S Bharat also helped Kohli build the innings as he too scored 32 runs. Glenn Maxwell also chipped in as he made an impressive fifty scoring 56 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai Indians as he took three wickets. Trent Boult, Adam Milne, and Rahul Chahar took 1 wicket apiece.

Mumbai Indians started their innings on a good note as the openers had a fifty-run partnership on the board. Rohit Sharma made 43 runs and Quinton de Kock 24.

Other than that no batsman was able to trouble the RCB bowlers as nobody was able to get to the two-figure mark. The pick of the bowlers was Harshal Patel as he took a fine hat-trick.

Patel took four wickets with Yuzvendra Chahal picking three. Glenn Maxwell also played a part in the bowling as he took two wickets and Siraj picking up one. In the end, RCB won the match by 54 runs.
