IPL 2021 – Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face Delhi Capitals (DC) in the second qualifier of the current IPL season 2021 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium after defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator match. Delhi Capitals played cricket in the tournament on their own terms and made it to the ‘Playoffs’ once again like last year’s season.
Kolkata Knight Riders, after falling behind in the first leg, performs better in the second leg and is able to make it to the ‘Playoffs’ this time around. Both the teams have faced each other 30 times out of which Kolkata Knight Riders have won 15 times and Delhi Capitals 14 times emerge victoriously.
Comparing both the teams, the team of Delhi Capitals looks a bit stronger than Kolkata Knight Riders which lacks batsmen. Delhi Capitals have batsmen like Shimron Hetmyer, Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, and Shreyas Ayer who give strength and depth to the team.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders do not have that many options, and the form of recent captain Eoin Morgan has also not been very good, which will definitely be an advantage for Delhi Capitals somewhere.
Although Delhi Capitals were defeated in the last over against Chennai Super Kings after a tough encounter, on the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders won against Royal Challengers Bangalore in a tough match with 2 balls to spare. However, in the coming second qualifier, there will be a tough competition between the two and not a one-sided match.
