India Legends to lock horns with Bangladesh Legends on March 5


The Road Safety World Series 2021 is just 5 days away from setting the stage ablaze as many legends will be marking their presence in the tournament. This time around, six teams will enter the contest with an intent to win games and entertain the fans. The six teams include the likes of India Legends, South Africa Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, West Indies Legends, Bangladesh Legends, and England Legends.

It is well and truly going to be the perfect entertainment for cricket fans. The inaugural edition of the tournament didn’t happen due to the danger of a coronavirus outbreak. However, with a massive decline in coronavirus cases all over the world, the planet is slowly returning to the new normal. It is indeed good to see so many cricketing activities happening this year.

It is certain that 2021 is going to be the busiest year for cricket players since there was hardly any cricketing activity last year. The ICC and national boards want to make up the last year’s loss by staging as many events as possible this year.

India Legends to play Bangladesh Legends

Case in point, India Legends will cross swords with Bangladesh Legends in the tournament opener on March 5. Several big players will take part in the tournament this time around. The fans will hope that their expectations will turn out to be a treat.

Legendary players are looking forward to increasing funds for charity. Australian Legends will not be taking part this time around. On the other hand, England Legends and Bangladesh Legends make a new entry in this year’s competition. All the games will kick-off at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. India Legends will have big names like batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, Nawab of Najafgarh Virender Sehwag.

Yusuf Pathan who retired from all forms of cricket yesterday is part of the India Legends squad. He will play alongside his young brother Irfan Pathan. Yuvraj Singh and Mohammed Kaif are part of the squad. Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel will be looking forward to swinging their arms in action. After that, Indian Legends will take on England Legends on March 9. On March 13, India Legends will lock horns with South Africa Legends. The first and second semi-final will kick-off on March 17 and 18 respectively. The intriguing final will kick-off on March 21.
