Guillem Balague Gives A Massive Update On Real Madrid Star, Blow To Premier League Giants

The Sky Sports Pundit has stated that Gareth Bale is committed to Real Madrid and will fight for his place at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Over the past few months, there has been a massive speculation regarding Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid. The Welshman arrived from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur to Madrid back in 2013 and has aided the Los Blancos to three Champions League titles, one La Liga and one Copa Del Rey so far. However, despite all this success at the Spanish capital, Bale has come under scrutiny because of his injuries and recent performances.

Real Madrid to sell Gareth Bale

There have been rumors circulating Europe that Bale could return to the Premier League in this summer transfer window. However, Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague has insisted that Bale is determined to fight back for his place in the starting lineup for Madrid in spite of youngsters like Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez and even Isco competing for a spot.

Balague On Madrid and Bale-

In a recent show with Sky Sports, the Spanish presenter said that Bale could face the same fate James Rodriguez did and be sold for a higher price ”Real Madrid are doing the kind of thing they do when they want to get rid of a player or get a lot of money for a player. They did it with James [Rodriguez] last season. He gets left out of the big games, stays on the bench.”

But Balague also stated that if Madrid want 28-year-old out they will have to do it on their own terms because there is no way Bale will leave the club without fighting, “If you want him(Bale) out of there, you’re going to have to kick him out; you’re going to have to  push him because he doesn’t want to leave. He may find himself in a position at some point that he might have to go but right now he doesn’t want to leave Real Madrid.”

Author’s Take-

I think that the Welshman has been very unlucky with his injuries this season. He is without a doubt a very integral part of Madrid’s success since he joined them from Spurs and is a match winner. Madrid should keep him and play him or else there would be several clubs who would love to have Bale in their starting line-up.
