Aston Martin’s 2021 season so far
As the Otmar Szafnauer led team, was put under scrutiny in 2020 for copying the Silver Arrows’ 2019 body, the strategy failed to work for 2021. Sebastian Vettel finished P15 at the season opener in Bahrain.
The four-time World Champion has only been able to score points in 4 out of the 14 races this season. However, his performance has been better than last season with Ferrari. Sebastian was forced to retire out of the Silverstone GP and was disqualified from the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Lance Stroll, however, had a much better start to the season as the 22-year-old was able to score a point in Bahrain. Stroll has been able to score points in 7 out of 14 races. However, he has not been able to break the mid-table rankings.
His best performance of the season so far is the P7 he finished in Monza this Sunday. Lance was forced to retire out of Azerbaijan as well as Hungary. His teammate landed on the podium both times, however one of which was taken away from him.
