Real Madrid has been looking desperately for a replacement of Karim Benzema and their quest for a good striker brings them to PSG.

In a recent report by the Spanish outlet Don Balon, the La Liga giants Real Madrid have indicated that they have got the potential solution to the position of the striker as Karim Benzema is set to leave after a horrific performance this season. And the Los Blancos side are reportedly ready to switch their focus to the €200million transfer of Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe ahead of Neymar.

They were hoping to get Mbappe last summer but were beaten out by a €180m loan-to-buy offer from their Ligue 1 rivals PSG. Now Madrid president Florentino Perez is hoping to entice PSG to sell the teenager by promising he will abandon his pursuit of Neymar if his club lands the France international.PSG will surely try as much as they can to keep their poster boy Neymar, with the Brazilian’s move to Paris last summer stunning world football.

Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe has scored 13 goals in 22 League 1 appearances this season. His good form has kept teams interested in him.

In addition to this, Manchester City are also targeting the French International. City have been closely monitoring Mbappe’s situation in Paris after UEFA confirmed they were investigating PSG’s spending over the last 12 months. Mbappe’s loan will become a permanent move this summer – but the Financial Fair Play investigation could lead to the Qatar-backed club immediately selling the teenage superstar.
