Confirmed: West Ham Set To Sign Ex-Arsenal Star Today

West Ham are looking to complete a deal with former Arsenal man Jack Wilshere, with the England international expected to sign a 3 year deal and is undergoing a medical with the Hammers.

The midfield superstar left the Emirates recently, after failing to agree new terms with the Gunners, who had offered him a deal that he did not like.

He was being linked with a lot of clubs, including a few outside England and he was ready to go in order to revive his career.

However, after considering the offers that he got, it seems that he has decided to remain in London and will now be joining Manuel Pellegrini’s side today.

The player who was dropped from the World Cup squad by England coach Gareth Southgate is looking to revive his career at the club level.

He was not regularly played during his time at Arsenal in the recent seasons, due to which he had fallen down the pecking order.

With that being said, he now has a chance to recover and regain a place in The Three Lions’ squad after the tournament in Russia is done.

The recent reports confirm taht a deal is nearly done and that he is undergoing a medical at the London based club, which is really positive news for them. West Ham have been trying to add some quality to their team and have already signed one former Arsenal player in Fabianski and it seems that they will be adding another now.

Author’s Take-

Wilshere still has the quality and skill and will really be a huge boost for Pellegrini, who is a really top manager and can really do something good with the team that he has at present. The Italian has already won the Premier League title with Manchester City and will be hoping to do something big with the Hammers too now.

Hopefully, the set of players that he already has and adds in the current transfer window, can make a major impact and can help them secure more than just a finish in the top half of the league table.
