Chelsea Star Wants To Leave Amid Managerial Turmoil

The Blues talisman Eden Hazard could leave the club this summer because of the chaos at the club regarding a managerial change.

Chelsea finished in fifth place on the Premier League table last season and that meant that the West London club would not be eligible to play in the Champions League for next term. This has put pressure on manager Antonio Conte and despite winning the FA Cup against Manchester United in the final, Conte’s position at Chelsea is in jeopardy.

Former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in order to succeed Conte. The 59-year-old master tactician guided the Partneopei to a 2nd place finish in the Serie A last season but parted ways with the Italian outfit. However, all this speculation is having an effect on the players at Chelsea who want some stability and confirmation regarding whom they play under.

Inside News-

Without Champions League football and the issues with the manager, Belgian winger Eden Hazard would want to move away from the club. La Liga giants Real Madrid are monitoring the 27 year old’s situation and eye Hazard as the heir to Cristiano Ronaldo who departed for Juventus this week.

According to sources from the Express, a report by Stewart Robson suggested that Hazard should leave Stamford Bridge amid all the turmoil at the club, “There’s turmoil at Chelsea at the moment. Conte is the manager but probably won’t be for too much longer. They’re not sure who’s coming in, it could be Sarri. I think he needs to move. Eden Hazard will be leaving for a big, big club.”

Author’s Take-

Chelsea is in quite a tough spot at the moment and they need to dig themselves out of this hole coming out as unharmed as possible. Losing Hazard would be massive and they certainly don’t want that especially because of the problems regarding a manager. Chelsea must sort out their problems quickly and start preparing for next season.
