Morocco International had to be substituted in the first half of Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Leeds United on Saturday due to a hamstring problem. A second-string Chelsea’s Champions League tie against Krasnodar ended as a 1-1 draw. Therefore the Blues Boss needs all his big players for the crucial festive period.
The former Ajax star started his treatment under the Chelsea FC medical staff as he pulled up with a muscular problem. Due to hamstring issues, Ziyech sat out from the Blues squad at Stamford Bridge, in Tuesday’s Champions League clash.
Chelsea Starlet Ziyech suffered from multiple injuries since he joined Frank Lampard’s side from Ajax. He will be likely to miss Chelsea’s Premier League fixtures against Everton, Wolves, and West Ham. Because Ziyech will be sidelined for around two weeks due to injury.
Meanwhile, Morocco International was replaced by the fully-fit Christian Pulisic. Whereas the American conceded the third goal for Blue. But Blues are hoping that Ziyech could play a part against Crystal Palace the week after.

Lampard’s side European campaign finish with a Draw

Speaking at News Conference before Chelsea FC’s Champions League clash against Krasnodar, Lampard said that he was not concerned about Ziyech because he showed real ability to step straight into the level. So Frank Lampard thought he was looking great.

“Part of my job and sport science and medicine is to find a balance for him with him missing a bit of pre-season but I’m not completely worried,” Lampard said. Chelsea is ready to face Everton at Goodison Park in Premier League action on Saturday evening.
