India Lost to Australia in today’s ODI but was excited to Dhoni running between the wicket and scoring 50 runs at the crucial time.
MS Dhoni may have managed to win the hearts of some of his hardcore fans by bringing up his first ODI century since December 2017. The former India captain had a memorable outing, personally at the Sydney Cricket Ground as he became the fifth batsman from the country to score 10,000 ODI runs for India during the first ODI between India and Australia on Saturday. Lyon to Dhoni, 1 run, Dhoni puts in a dive to make his ground. The right-hander went back in the crease and patted it towards the off-side.
Marsh ran in from cover and fired an underarm throw. Misses the target, Dhoni was home, anyway. Sprinted across and put in a full-length dive.

Australia fast bowler Jhye Richardson said Australia were lucky to get MS Dhoni out with a dubious call in the first One-day International against India in Sydney on Saturday. Dhoni was given out leg before wicket when the Australians appealed during debutant Jason Behrendorff’s 33rd over, but TV replays showed the ball had pitched outside the leg-stump. The veteran could not opt for a review as it was unsuccessfully used up by Ambati Rayudu. Dhoni was involved in a 141-run partnership with Rohit Sharma at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
