Breaking: Chelsea Are All Set To Sign This Star Goalkeeper

Premier League Giants Chelsea are believed to be considering a move for Everton’s first-choice goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

According to Sky Sports, the English giants have been watching the Englishmen in his Premier League outings. Courtois has enjoyed four glorious years at Stamford Bridge since moving from Genk in 2011, winning two Premier League titles and the FA Cup, but is keen on a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid. Los Blancos have shown interest in Chelsea’s first choice goalkeeper in last few years and now they are expected to finally replace Keylor Navas with Thibaut Courtois.

New Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri hopes to talk to Courtois in personnel about whether he’s interested in staying at Stamford Bridge or not, but Sarri has already believed that Courtois will leave. The Pensioners have now prepared a list of shot-stoppers who can potentially replace Courtois at the Stamford Bridge.

Earlier this week, Sky Sport reported that the Pensioners have identified Leicester City star Kasper Schmeichel and Jack Butland as Courtois’ possible replacement, but Everton shot-stopper Jordan Pickford remains above both of them on Chelsea’s wishlist. It is said that Everton will resist Pickford from leaving the Goodison Park as they’ve just signed him last year from Sunderland for £30 Million.

Pickford also picked up the Everton’s Player of the Year award last season, in both the awards voted by fans and his fellow teammates. Jordan Pickford is surely a world-class talent that will improve any squad with his game. Let’s see how this transfer saga will unfold.

Author’s Take-
