Bayern Munich to battle Arsenal & Man City to sign a world-class defender

Bayern Munich is going to battle with Arsenal and Man City to sign RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upameano.  

Bayern Munich have made Dayot Upameano, who plays for the Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig a priority signing. This 21-year-old French footballer plays mainly in the central defence. At this very young age, he has become an essential player of the RB Leipzig squad. He also played in the French U16, U17, U18, U19, and U21 teams. For RB Leipzig, he played 17 matches in the league. Where he has one assist for his side.

At this very young age, he played 105 matches in senior teams. Upameano has a big future ahead. He has a contract with RB Leipzig which will be going to expire in the next year. His current market price is 50 million euros. Which is not too much for a quality centre-back like him. That is why some big clubs are targetting him this summer.

Upameano is playing pretty well this season

Dayot Upameano has played a vital role at the RB Leipzig defence. He is going through a phenomenal season for Leipzig so far. As a result, this Bundesliga side conceded just 25 goals this season. Which makes them the second least goal conceding team in the league. After returning from a knee injury, Upamencano featured in the first eleven of his side in most of the matches.
