Barcelona are going through a rough period of time. They failed to win the LaLiga last season and had a bizarre start to the transfer window. The Catalan giants also have the debt issue because the club debts are moving towards historic levels. The downfall could prove to be catastrophic for the future of the prestigious club.
The club appears to be mismanaged from top to bottom. They are in a huge mess even in terms of the squad.
Barcelona are not yet successful in terms of offloading many fringe players. They have players like Ousmane Dembele, Samuel Umtiti and many others who are not ready to leave the club.
However, Barcelona have only 20 hours left to control this mess and improve things. They are looking to offload players as well as sign new players in the small and narrow window that is available only till today. And since it is the transfer deadline day, there are a lot of rumours already doing rounds in the media houses.
Barcelona transfer news: Ronald Koeman’s side pushing for Hector Bellerin?
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, the latest Barcelona transfer news states that the club are still considering a move for Hector Bellerin on the final day of the transfer window. They are looking to add one right-back because of a recent departure from Barcelona.
Hector Bellerin is himself unhappy at Arsenal. And who would not be unhappy with all that’s going at Arsenal? It is a straight out circus show where the club have seemingly hired unworthy heads to run the club from the top to bottom. And has reached a level or a stage from where it is no longer funnier but only frustrating. In fact, other clubs should take a lesson on how not to run a club like Arsenal.
However, Hector Bellerin has asked the club to let him leave multiple times in the past. The 26-year-old was closing on a transfer to Italy but the deal just fell through. It was because both the respective clubs involved could not mutually agree on a fee.
Nevertheless, he is now pushing for a move at the last minute with many other Arsenal players like Eddie Nketiah and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
Arsenal are also looking to part ways with him but they only want to sanction a permanent move and not a loan move. If at all it is a loan move, then the Gunners want at least an obligation to buy clause in the contract.
Arsenal miss out on Emerson as Barcelona desperate for a wing-back
Barcelona are desperate to bring a right-back since there is a shortage of players in that position. This is after Emerson Royal left Barcelona for Tottenham Hotspur. The move handed €30 million to Barcelona.
However, Arsenal were looking to sign Emerson Royal. They are themselves looking for a right-back in desperate terms. The Gunners also offered a swap deal between Hector Bellerin and Emerson Royal. But Barcelona only wanted cash and the deal just fell through.
Though the Catalan giants have a range of options in mind. They are not precisely desperate to land Hector Bellerin. Bellerin has interest from various Spanish clubs. This move could go till the very last minute of the transfer window.
