Lionel Messi finds one way or the other to make the news. A few years ago it was with his Ballon d’Ors, last year it was with his retirement and image rights and now it is for the new contract that Barcelona is planning to offer him. Its just difficult to keep him out of the news isn’t it.
Barcelona have offered new contracts to Suarez and Neymar and they will be staying at Camp Nou at least till 202. However, Barcelona is yet to offer Messi a new contract. But it according to Guillem Balagué, Barcelona are now feeling the pressure to offer the contract. But there doesn’t seem to be any “offer on the table” as of now. (Source: Sky Sports)

However, it is unlikely that the Argentine great would exit the team just yet. He might be going through a rough patch with personal issues, however, he has still been scoring consistently for Barcelona. Along with Suarez, Messi has been the leading goal scorer in La Liga. (Source: Fox Sports)
There is absolutely no reason why Barcelona should not go all out to keep Messi at Camp Nou.
