La Blaugrana is keen on offering Chelsea any one of three players in order to sign lure Brazilian winger Willian to Stamford Bridge.
With Chelsea having a poor season in the English Premier League, the West London club finished fifth, suffering a horrid title defence. This meant that Chelsea will not be able to play in the Champions League next season. The former Premier League champions are set to endure a difficult summer transfer window with trying to keep hold of star players at Stamford Bridge.
One player who is close to leaving Chelsea is star winger Willian. The 29-year old’s relationship with manager Antonio Conte has deteriorated with time and a lot regarding Willian’s future depends on whether Conte remains at the club or not.
After failing to sign Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann this summer the La Liga champions Barcelona have turned their attention to Chelsea winger Willian and are eager to bring him to the Camp Nou in exchange for one of three Blaugrana players.
The Three Barcelona Players That Could Be Exchanged For Willian-
According to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea value Willian at around £70 million but the Catalonian club is not willing to pay that massive sum for the Brazilian. However, Barcelona is prepared to offer either Andre Gomes of Portugal, on-loan star Rafinha or even Paulinho in exchange for Willian.
Andres Gomes has not settled in at Barcelona and the 24-year-old is still receiving death threats from fans after spending two years at the Catalonian capital. Rafinha had spent some time with Inter Milan on loan but will find it hard to get back into the Barcelona starting eleven and the Spanish champions believe that Willian could be an upgrade to his national compatriot Paulinho. However, Barcelona could face stiff competition from Manchester United over the signature of Willian.
I think that Barcelona should offer two players, Gomes and Rafinha in order to bring Willian to the Camp Nou. Willian should fit in well with the Barcelona attack forming an incredible partnership in attack with Coutinho, Suarez, Messi and even Paulinho.
